Meet Kari!

Hello! Thank you for being here!


I'm a creative and thoughtful person who thrives in meaningful interactions. I love creating a calm and comfortable atmosphere where people can truly be themselves, allowing me to capture the most genuine and heartfelt moments. I absolutely adore being a wedding photographer - this beautiful job lets me be a part of one of the happiest days of your life and I'm so honoured to share in that. My husband, Kenton, works alongside me as my assistant, making sure that every detail is just right so you can focus on enjoying the moment.


When I'm not photographing love stories, you'll find me spending time with my husband and our two children (14 &18 years old). I'm also slightly obsessed with horror movies (give me all your scary movie recommendations!), will never say no to a cup of coffee, and love spending an afternoon at the beach. Also know that if you are including your dog in your wedding I will be beyond excited. My own dog, Dusty, is my biggest baby and I know how important they are as members of your family!


I want you to be able to look back at your wedding photos and feel the love, joy, and tears of the day. How do I book with you?

Booking with me is easy! Simply reach out to me through my contact form or by email, and let me know the type of photography you're interested in. I'll guide you through the process and answer any questions you may have.

How many photos will we receive? (Wedding Galleries)

I don't place a strict cap on the number of images I deliver. My approach is always quality first, with care given to every photo you receive. You can expect a minimum of 40-50 thoughtfully edited images per hour of coverage, though this often grows depending on your timeline, the flow of your day, and the moments that naturally unfold.


I carefully cull and keep the images that best tell your story, the big moments, the quiet ones, and everything meaningful in between.

How long does it take to receive the final edited photos?

I understand the anticipation of seeing your final photos! My editing process typically takes 3-4 weeks for regular sessions (family, lifestyle, engagement, branding). For weddings and events my turn around time is 10-12 weeks. I prioritize quality and attention to detail to deliver exceptional images that exceed your expectations.

FAQ

How do i receive my photos?

Your photos are delivered through a private, online gallery system. I will send you an email that includes the link to your gallery and the instructions to download your images. These instructions will include a personal 4-digit PIN to download your photos.

What happens if the weather is unfavorable on the day of an outdoor shoot?

If the weather doesn't cooperate on the day of an outdoor shoot, we can discuss alternatives such as rescheduling the session or possibly finding an indoor location. I want to ensure the best possible outcome for your photos!

Do you help with planning our engagement Session?

Absolutely! From the very beginning, I'm here to help your engagement session feel effortless and truly you. I'll guide you through everything, from choosing a location that feels meaningful for you, to outfit guidance, timing, and what to expect during the session itself.

Do you offer a second photographer?

Most weddings are photographed with me as your primary photographer, allowing for a thoughtful, intentional approach throughout the day. However, a second photographer can definitely be added if you would like additional coverage (more perspectives, candid moments, details, etc.). This is an optional add-on and available for an additional cost. I'm always happy to help you decide if it makes sense for your day!
